Version 0.7.3
Deck settings panel with custom cover images • Redesigned Library deck tiles with card paging • Editor color, alignment, and undo fixes
0.7.3 · macOS, iOS
New Features
- Deck Settings panel (macOS): Edit a deck’s title, summary, and color from a new settings panel in Card Controls — replacing inline editing scattered across the Library list
- Deck cover images (macOS): Give any deck a cover image via file picker or drag-and-drop (PNG, JPEG, or WebP up to 10 MB) — it appears on the deck’s Library tile
Improvements
- Redesigned Library deck tiles (macOS): Deck tiles now show a true card preview with pager arrows to flip through the deck, and opening the editor from a tile lands on the exact card you were viewing
- Link & content hardening (macOS): Pasted and imported rich text is now sanitized to the editor’s supported formats, and links embedded in previews and images can no longer trigger navigation
Bug Fixes
- Text styles persist (macOS + iOS): Vertical alignment and list styles set in the editor now survive the save round-trip, and Study Mode on iPhone renders the same nine-way alignment as the desktop editor
- Text color sticks (macOS): Colors typed into the toolbar’s hex input now apply and persist correctly (a matching font-size bug was fixed as well)
- Cleaner undo (macOS): Undoing a restored card no longer leaves the editor showing stale content, and color-picker changes no longer create duplicate undo history entries
- Small fixes (macOS): The Deck Picker submenu no longer overflows the window edge, a missing Brain Dump toolbar icon is back, and multi-line text in imported decks no longer runs together in preview thumbnails
Technical Updates
- Added LICENSE.md and licensing details to the SEF specification
- Removed dormant listeners, stale window capabilities, and unused code paths
