Troubleshooting

Something not working like it should? Here are the most common issues and their workarounds. If you're stuck on anything else, contact support or email support@supercards.io — every report helps us squash bugs faster.

Images

  • Image didn't upload? Occasionally an image doesn't take on the first try with the file-upload button. Trying again usually works.
  • Image not rendering on the card face? If an image appears as a blank or greyed-out box, navigate to a different card and back to force it to re-render.

Card previews and thumbnails

  • Thumbnails out of date? Card thumbnails in the Library and Card Controls don't always update in real time. They catch up the next time you quit and reopen the app.

Study Mode

  • Card content doesn't fit the screen? Cards scale down to smaller screens while keeping their proportions. If a deck consistently renders too large or too small, check the default card size in the desktop app's Settings, and the card size used in the editor.

iCloud sync

  • A deck isn't showing up on your iPhone? Give iCloud a moment — image-heavy decks take longer on first sync — then refresh the iOS Library and check the sync status in the Profile tab.
  • "Move timed out — iCloud may be busy"? iCloud was mid-sync when you moved cards. Nothing was lost; wait a moment and try again.
  • Same card edited on two devices? SuperCards detects the conflict instead of guessing: in Settings, click View Conflicts (in the Data section) and choose Keep Local or Keep Remote for each item.
